Poke That Pig Flesh!

I’d been putting off doing last-minute grocery shopping until, well, the last minute. I just got back. I had wanted a standing rib roast; it’s been an off and on tradition in our house for awhile. But the meat counter had been picked pretty clean by the time I got there.

So I settled for a pork loin. On the way out, I grabbed a jar of whole cranberry relish and a jar of orange marmalade. I’ll be making this tonight for our Christmas dinner tomorrow, along with a friend’s recipe for Pumpkin Cheesecake.
