Comments left by others on this site remain the property of the person who left them and I will not republish them, or any portion of them, elsewhere without the owner’s prior consent. When leaving comments, please remember to be nice. This is not a bathroom wall and it is not your home. It is my home, here in cyberspace. My CMS allows me to moderate comments so anything I find offensive won’t get to its final destination. It will simply be deleted. But unless you are just being an absolute puckerbutted fucktard (thanks, Acidman, for the colorful term!), you probably will be allowed free reign to comment here as you see fit.

Such web sites are publicly available and I am providing access to such web sites through this web site solely as a convenience to you. I make no representations or warranties concerning the content of such web sites and the fact that access to such web sites is provided does not constitute any endorsement, authorization or sponsorship of such web sites. Like all other web servers, joniverse.com web server automatically creates log files for each visitor who accesses the site. These access logs allow me to make the site more useful to my visitors. The access logs do NOT record a visitor’s name, address, phone number, credit card numbers, or any other personally-identifying information. Rather, they contain some or all of the following information:
• The Internet Protocol Address (IP Address) of the machine which accessed the Web site.
• The date of the visit.
• The time of the visit.
• The path taken through our Web site.
• The browser being used.
• A list of files downloaded or viewed.
• The amount of time spent listening to audio files contained on this site.
• Any errors encountered.
Although my Content Management System has an anti-spam device in place, information that you post when leaving a comment on my site becomes public and your e-mail address and/or personal home page address may become available to third parties accessing this web site.
joniverse.com also uses so-called “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a string of characters that can be written to a file on the user’s hard drive when the user visits a web site. Only the web site that set the cookie can read it, and it can only be used as a recordkeeping device to store information that the site already has. It cannot, for example, be used to read other information from the user’s hard drive.
This site is best enjoyed using the latest versions of your favorite standards-compliant browser and an 800 by 600 or higher true-color screen resolution. The site was created using Evrsoft 1stPage 2000 HTML editor on a Windows platform. Stylesheets were created using Topstyle Pro 3.0. All original graphics and images were created and/or edited using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.0. All original photographs were taken using a Sony Mavica FD73 digital camera, a Sony Cybershot P93 digital camera, or a Canon Sureshot 105Z compact zoom camera with 35mm. film and subsequently scanned using an Epson Perfection 636U CCD flatbed scanner. Original photographic images and graphics are protected using digital watermarking. The blog is, of course, running on the latest and greatest version of WordPress.
